Terms & Conditions



All bookings are made with AND TRAVEL COMPANY  By booking a trip with us you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions (which constitutes the entire agreement between you and us) and your booking will be accepted by us on this basis. The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation invoice.


Dates, itineraries and prices are valid from 01 January 2019  until 31 December 2019. Beyond 31 December 2019  dates, itineraries and prices are indicative only.


To attend any trips, you must be at least 21 years of age as of the date of first travel and comply with any other age restrictions as may be promulgated from time to time by AND TRAVEL COMPANY.


For international trips, you are required to pay a non-refundable deposit  for your booking to be confirmed. Deposit amount depends on trip and is specified on each trip page.  If your booking is made within 60 days of departure, 50% of total is due. If booking is made within 30  days of the departure date then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.


If we accept your booking we will issue a confirmation invoice. A contract will exist between us from the date we issue the confirmation invoice or if you book within 7 days of departure the contract will exist when we accept your deposit. Please refer to your booking confirmation invoice for details regarding final payments. For international trips, payment of the balance of the trip price is due 30  days before the departure date or on date specified during booking.

Payments made under the payment plan are due no later than 10 days from payment due date. Payments made after the allotted will incur a late penalty of $25.00.


For International trips, for us to confirm your travel arrangements you must provide all requested details at time of booking. Necessary details include full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, and any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your ability to complete your travel arrangements. We may also request to see a copy of your passport before or during the trip.


For trips under 4 days in length, you may cancel up to 21  days before the trips starts without penalty. If you need to cancel any closer  to the trip start, we cannot issue a refund but you may find someone to fill your spot. All replacement participants must be approved by us and you will be responsible for a $50 replacement fee.

AND TRAVEL COMPANY is not responsible for any charges levied by third parties or financial institutions and payable by you as a result of credit card or other payment transactions and will not refund or return any fees charged by third parties or financial institutions in connection with payments made by you to AND TRAVEL COMPANY.

  1. CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELER (International Trips)

For trips longer than 4 days in length or longer, if you cancel some or all portions of your booking, cancellation fees will apply. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation. If you cancel a trip, you will be responsible for the below amounts according to when you give us written confirmation of cancellation.

90 days or more………………………Deposit is retained by AND TRAVEL COMPANY but can be transferred to another trip within a 12 month period

89-75 days before departure………………………Deposit is retained by AND TRAVEL COMPANY and cannot be transferred

74-60 days before departure………………………50% of trip total

59-30 days before departure………………………………75% of trip total

30 days-day of Departure…………………..100% trip total

If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be made.

AND TRAVEL COMPANY is not responsible for any charges levied by third parties or financial institutions and payable by you as a result of credit card or other payment transactions and will not refund or return any fees charged by third parties or financial institutions in connection with payments made by you to AND TRAVEL COMPANY


We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time up to 60 days before departure for international trips and 21 days for domestic trips. Also, we would really hate to but if we must, we  may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events, it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. If we cancel your trip, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or  receive a full refund. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.


If you wish to  transfer your booking to  another person, you must notify us at least 30 days prior to the proposed departure date. A fee of $50 per person per change will apply (in addition to any charges levied by hotels, ground operators or airlines). If you notify us less than 30 days prior to the proposed departure date the refund policy applicable to cancellations will apply. Transfers to a third party are only permitted where the transferee meets all the requirements in relation to the trip. Transferees must be approved by us.


The land price of your trip includes:

  • all accommodation as listed on the website
  • all transport as listed on the website
  • sightseeing and meals as listed on the website
  • the services of a group leader as described on the website

The land price of your trip does not include:

  • international or internal flights unless specified
  • airport transfers, taxes and excess baggage charges unless specified
  • meals other than those specified on the website
  • Visa and passport fees
  • travel insurance
  • optional activities and all personal expenses
  1. PASSPORT AND VISAS (International Trips Only)

You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and certificates for the countries in which you will visit during your trip. Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your trip. We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct passport, visa or other travel documentation.

  1. TRAVEL INSURANCE (International  Trips Only)

Travel insurance is compulsory for all of our travelers and should be taken out at the time of booking. Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of US$200,000 for each of the categories of cover. We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects. You must provide proof of your travel insurance on the first day of your trip; you will not be able to join the trip without it.


You appreciate and acknowledge that the nature of this type of travel requires considerable flexibility and you should allow for alternatives. The itinerary provided for each trip is representative of the types of activities contemplated, but it is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events.


Our group trips are run by a group leader(s). The decision of the group leader is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or well-being of any person participating in the trip. If you fail to comply with a decision made by a group leader, or interfere with the well-being or mobility of the group, the group leader may direct you to leave the trip immediately, with no right of refund. We may also elect not to carry you on any future trips booked. You must at all times comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange and drug regulations of all countries visited, and you also agree to travel in accordance with our responsible travel guidelines.


You acknowledge and agree that participation in activities, such as adventure travel, involves inherent risks and dangers of accidents, personal and bodily injury (including death) and property loss or damage. You agree that you have considered the nature and extent of the risks involved and voluntarily choose to assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even those risks that result from the negligence of others and assume full responsibility for your participation in such activities.


You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless EVERYDAY GLOBETROTTER, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, services providers and licensors from and against all losses, liabilities, costs (including without limitation attorneys’ fees and costs on appeal or at trial), damages, judgments, claims, of every kind and nature, to the fullest extent permitted by law, arising from or relating in any way to (i) your use of the Site, (ii) the products and services purchased through the Site, (iii) any liabilities, claims, damages and injuries arising from or related to any act or omission of a Service Provider or another third party, (iv) your conduct in connection with the Site, or (v) your violation of these Experiences Terms, the Terms of Service, any law or the rights of any third party.


EVERYDAY GLOBETROTTER (“Tour Operator”) acts only as an agent for the various independent suppliers that provide hotel accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, activities, or other services connected with this tour. Such services are subject to the terms and conditions of those suppliers. Tour Operator and their respective employees, agents, representatives, and assigns accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or any other incident which may be caused by the negligence, defect, default of any company or person in performing the services. Responsibility is not accepted for losses, injury, damages or expenses of any kind due to sickness, weather, strikes, hostilities, wars, terrorist acts, acts of nature, local laws or other such causes. All services and accommodations are subject to the laws and regulations of the country in which they are provided. Tour Operator is not responsible for any baggage or personal effects of any individual participating in the tours/trips arranged by Tour Operator. Individual travelers are responsible for purchasing a travel insurance policy, if desired, that will cover some of the expenses associated with the loss of luggage or personal effects.


Optional activities not included in the trip price do not form part of the trip or this contract. You accept that any assistance given by your group leader or local representative in arranging optional activities does not render us liable for them in any way. The contract for the provision of that activity will be between you and activity provider.


If you have a complaint about your trip please inform your group leader or our local representative at the time in order that they can attempt to rectify the matter. If satisfaction is not reached through these means then any further complaint should be put in writing to us within 30 days of the end of the tour.


In the event that any term or condition contained in these Terms and Conditions is unenforceable or void by operation of law or as being against public policy or for any other reason then such term or condition shall be deemed to be severed from this contract or amended accordingly only to such extent necessary to allow all remaining terms and conditions to survive and continue as binding.


You consent to us using images or video of you taken during the trip for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose. We promise to only use images or video of you for AND TRAVEL COMPANY marketing purposes (i.e., we will never sell pictures or video of you to anyone else, unless you give us permission).  You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for AND TRAVEL COMPANY Travel publicity and promotional purposes.


All food allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed to the Tour Operator at the time of booking but the Tour Operator cannot guarantee that dietary needs or restrictions can be accommodated. Any special requests or requirements do not form part of these Terms or the contract between you and the Tour Operator and the Tour Operator is not liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfill such requests.


The Tour Operator will not be liable in any way for death, bodily injury, illness, damage, delay or other loss or detriment to person or property, or financial costs both direct and indirect incurred, or for the Tour Operator failure to commence, perform or complete any duty owed to you if such death, delay, bodily injury (including emotional distress or injury), illness, damage or other loss or detriment to person or property is caused by Act of God, war or war like operations, mechanical breakdowns, terrorist activities or threat thereof, civil commotions, labor difficulties, interference by authorities, political disturbance, howsoever and where so ever any of the same may arise or be caused, riot, insurrection and government restraint, fire, extreme weather or any other cause whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the Tour Operator; or an event which the Tour Operator or the Third Party Supplier of services, even with all due care, could not foresee any and all of which, individually and collectively, constitute “Force Majeure”.


The Contract and these Terms are subject to the laws of the State of Michigan and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States of America for the resolution of any dispute under these Terms or concerning any Tour, product or service.

By booking a Tour you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you make a booking on behalf of other participants, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept these Terms on behalf of the other participants in your party.
